William J. Mack, D.V.M.

Dr. Mack was born and raised in Owosso, Michigan where he spent summers working on area farms. It is here he discovered his love for animals and chose to become a veterinarian.

After graduating from Michigan State University in 1970, Dr. Mack owned and operated an animal hospital in Chicago for 25 years.

As his three boys grew, he wished to return to his rural roots and, with his wife Susan, purchased a small farm in Michigan. He has worked at New Prairie Small Animal Clinic from 1955 to the present.

Dr. Mack and his wife have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren. His favorite pets are "Miss P" the cow and Gracie, his yellow lab. He spends his free time with family, vegetable gardening, barbecuing, and fishing.

Brian Mack, D.V.M.

Dr. Mack was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago. He moved to northwest Indiana and graduated from Chesterton High School. Then he attended Valparaiso University for several years, before transferring to Purdue University and graduating from their school of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. He is a member of AVMA, AAHA, and AAFP. He is a Bears, Cubs, and Purdue fan, feel his pain!
